Opinion: Why the Farm Bill Isn’t Prioritizing the Right Things
This article makes the case that we need a farm bill to support farming practices
- that are ecologically, not economically efficient;
- that supports food for people, not for animals;
- that fosters local and regionally diverse food networks;
- that supports healthy food for all people; and
- that ensures resources to “future-proof” food systems.
Works for me! Can we keep the pressure on even as we are fighting to preserve democracy, stay out of wars, and monitor elections?
