The suggestion is the exact opposite of what we want in terms of economic justice: the Republicans want more price support for commodities—specifically peanuts, rice, and cotton, Southern staples—and less funding for SNAP and conservation programs.
Our work is cut out for us—keep advocating, keep writing, spread the word!
