I am disturbed about the suggestion in the notes of the October meeting, to not meet in Nov. and Dec.  If I had been there today, I would have raised the issue of the massive Medicare (Dis)Advantage advertising push during the Annual Enrollment Period and how to combat it—I will Tweet out the recording of our event from last year, but we should do more, I think.  I wonder if we can snip out some shorter segments to get more traction.

 

How about a press release pointing out the flaws in DisAdvantage?  For instance, most of these plans cover you only in a small geographic region near your main home, so anyone with a distant second home should read the fine print.  Original Medicare covers you anywhere in the States.
