AIW for Delaney Hall? Visit by local UUs on closing Sunday?
This has been proposed on discuss.uua.org, and it is certainly timely and of critical importance. How can UUJEC support this AIW (or do you not think we should)?
Well, there was great controversy, and the AIW ultimately failed, immediately because of fear of disrupting visitation on Father’s Day, although that could have been addressed if we had been able to amend the AIW during GA, as used to be standard practice until 5 or 6 years ago.
The UUA discussion boards are mothballed between GAs to avoid bots and AI from scraping them (not the best choice, by far, as they cannot even be read during this time), and apparently they are even blocking the Wayback Machine from archiving them (as the Internet Archive protects Wayback Machine pages from being scraped, this is a really bad choice, ensuring that our history will disappear). I’ll try to track down the AIW and later Responsive Resolution language and post on our 2026 GA page (reachable from main menu at top of each page here).
