The UUJEC will celebrate the harvest season with a food- and water-justice web seminar reporting on labor-union organizing in the food industry, support for veganism in congregations, and multifaith celebrations for the harvest season.
In addition, there will be a mutual aid webinar on October 27 that will focus attention on community gardening and other mutual aid activities. We will have October tool kits for congregations. Community-gardening information and vegan and vegetarian recipes will be included, which should be very helpful for Green Sanctuary groups and other congregation-based projects.
